The Four Winds process will be familiar to anyone in the manufacturing business. There is a simple, logical flow to the work that is both informative and interactive.
As a Four Winds client, we value your input throughout the entire process, without imposing a large burden on you.
Introductory phone call or meeting to introduce both companies and see if there is a fit and identify an exact opportunity.
We will analyze your high level requirements and respond to you within a few days with questions and clarifications.
If an exact opportunity is identified, the client will supply Four Winds with technical drawings and samples and from there we will begin the process of determining the best facilities and sourcing strategy to use.
Four Winds will then transfer the information to the factory’s ownership group and technical staff.
Typically from here, pricing estimates can be received by Four Winds to understand the viability of the project.
If the client approves the initial pricing estimate, samples are produced and sent to the client for analysis.
Following sample review, the client will discuss their level of satisfaction with Four Winds.
Modifications and minor reconfigurations are performed until the desired product concept is finalized (material, dimensions, finish, etc.).
Next, if satisfied, an order would be placed by the client to begin the process with an initial deposit for production.
Four Winds contacts the factory management team to begin manufacturing based on the finalized samples and any issues discovered during inspection and then issues a purchase order to begin production..
Four Winds receives first run samples for quality assurance inspection and approval.
If the Four Winds quality inspection passes, the first run sample may be delivered to the customer for further inspection pending the product complexity and specification.
Production is approved and goods are packaged and delivered to the North American destination, all of which is handled through our full-service import and logistics team.
Client is kept up to date with production updates and photos of the progress.
Client performs final acceptance inspection and if all is met, the remainder of payment is released to Four Winds.
